RAPOETICS REPRINT: On A Quiet Sunday Morning by Louis Marvin

On A Quiet Sunday Morning

Oh slight wind blow

good morning birds-sing song of life

The organ and the choral groups
fly from the speaker
on the public radio

church music show

I heard the morning sounds of the military chapel
piano player practicing
the chaplain and I

making twin urine streams in the head

There is a tock, tock tennis ball sound
at a Pearl Harbor tennis event
for kids

Louis Marvin-tour guide-poet-gigolo born Burbank, raised hell phoenix, lives/loves the Chinese girls in the pacific island read a poem where the Gin Blossoms played in Tempe, AZ (no one threw a bottle or up)
