RAPOETICS REPRINT: A Butterfly’s Exposition by A.J. Huffman

A Butterfly’s Exposition

Plated between clear panes,
a pair of wings whimper
wordlessly. Pinned in poses of flight,
their pigments glitter beneath lighted tracks.
Death displayed as art.
I mourn this
stolen flight.
