Color Pour Heart Box

Color Pour Heart Box is one of several of William James Lindberg’s painted objects. It is a delightful eye experience one can hold in their hands. Also, it has functionality. It can be used beyond its pure aesthetic value as a box to contain things close and dear to your heart.
 
A year ago, inspired by Ezra Robison, a contemporary artist who resides in Willamina, Oregon, who practices many creative endeavors including pour art; I created several acrylic color pours myself. Ezra used a more tradition recipe in order to achieve cell separation. Me, I mixed my paints with elmer’s glue and isopropyl alcohol– stuff you should have at home. I attempted this technique about a dozen times. The “Color Pour Heart Box,” is one such example. I will be bringing this item to the Coastal Hills Art Tour (November 8-9th) and will be selling it for $25.00 (OBO).
