Texturally Interesting Images: A Few Photos by William James Lindberg

These (cell phone) photos were taken in August of 2019. The first two were taken (August 7) either on SW Bellevue Hwy or SW Delashmutt Lane. What stood out to me was the texture of the magnified image. It was very windy that day and I don’t think I was wearing my glasses when I snapped the photo.

Pictures 3 – 7 were taking on a recent camping trip to South Beach State Park (August 22), a few miles South of Newport Oregon. The August sun is harsh in the sky, which is characterized in each of these landscapes. The whole day, I was captivated by the light dancing off the surface of the water, sand, and grasses. I think image number 5 will make in interesting painting.
